Last year was one of my favorite times of the year. One of the most impactful parts was being in a season where I felt lonely, but I found people who truly cared about me and made friendships that will last. During the gathering, you could feel the heart behind every message. The staff isn’t there to preach at you or control you—they’ve walked through the same struggles we face as youth, and they want to learn and grow alongside us while helping us do the same. You can truly see God moving in so many hearts. He brought people into my life who have helped me continue to seek the King. I’m so grateful that Messiah Texas has become a place where we can be real and vulnerable.

Messiah Texas has been impactful in so many ways. After every event, I’ve left feeling lighter and having learned new things. From the kids my age to the staff pouring into us, everyone builds each other up in a way that’s so beautiful. The community and friendships I’ve built here is something I’ll cherish forever. Every time of worship, prayer, and teaching with these amazing people feels like a small taste of what heaven will be like. Even getting to be on staff and learn to serve those younger than me has been one of the most rewarding experiences. I learned so much from that and can tell you from a behind the scenes perspective, that everyone here cares so deeply about you. You are loved, you’re being prayed for, and you have friends at Messiah Texas!
